Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

**Project**: Ferry Service

**Reports To**:CEO

**Position Summary**:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and fundraising efforts for the Ferry Service project.
- The CFO will be pivotal in securing ₹25 crores to ₹50 crores in funds for the project while ensuring efficient financial management, compliance, and strategic alignment with the company’s goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Fundraising and Financial Strategy**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure ₹25 crores in funding for the ferry service project.
- Identify and engage with potential investors, including venture capitalists, angel investors, government bodies, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Prepare and present detailed financial models, business plans, and investment proposals to stakeholders.
- Build relationships with funding sources and negotiate favorable terms for the company.

**Financial Management**
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the project.
- Monitor and control expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Implement robust financial systems and processes to maintain transparency and accountability.

**Compliance and Risk Management**
- Ensure compliance with all legal, financial, and regulatory requirements related to fundraising and project operations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the project.

**Stakeholder Communication**
- Act as a liaison between the company, investors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on financial performance and fundraising progress.
- Build trust and confidence among investors through transparent and consistent communication.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (mandatory).

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance
- Proven track record of successfully raising ₹10 crores or more for infrastructure, transportation, or similar large-scale projects.
- Experience in working with both public and private funding sources, including government grants, financial institutions, and equity investors.

**Skills**:

- Expertise in financial modeling, investment structuring, and risk assessment.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of maritime or transportation sectors (preferred but not mandatory).

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
