**Restaurant Captain Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests with smile.
- Assist guest with table reservation and assist guest while seating.
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
- Ensure guests are serviced within specified time.
- good knowledge of food and beverages menu
- Speak with guests and staff using clear and professional language, and answer phone calls using appropriate telephone etiquette.
- answer any questions regarding Food and Beverages menu and assist with menu selections.
- Record transaction / orders in Point of Sales systems at the time of order.
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and product availability.
- Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift.
- Present accurate final bill to guest and process payment.
- Thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit.
- Perform shift closing on the Point of sales terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.

**Prerequisites**:
Should have pleasing personality.

Excellent guest service skill.

Good knowledge of food and beverage service

**Must have bar related knowledge**

**Good spoken english skill.**

**Education**:
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field.

**Experience**:
Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience

**Salary**:
Rs. 15000 - Rs. 16000 per month.
