Salesforce Platform Advanced Administrator

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

The Operations and Enablement's Advanced Administration & Support Function is the Level 2 support for the Pointnext Workflow platform. The Advanced Administrator drives and manages its configuration, and also becomes the escalation path to HPE-IT and third party software suppliers.

The Advanced Administrator is a key member of the AA&S Team that will develop deep technical understanding of the Partner Support tool that is used by our partners. Hence the role requires not only a deep SFDC technology understanding but also needs to comprehend the business process the solution supports so he/she can offer technical troubleshooting for production issues. A good knowledge in SAP would also be recommended

Engaging closely with other teams in the Operations and Enablement organisation (e.g. Advanced Planning, BLAST, ITID and Partner Teams), colleagues in other areas of the AA&S team, and the Partner SMEs you will be accountable to develop a plan that will deliver operational support to user community, enabling successful releases of the tool.

The Advanced Administrator will participate in Testing & Business validation ensuring that the issues detected are properly captured and solved by the IT team

In summary, the key responsibilities are:
MTP Readiness - ensure that the Partner value stream needs are taken into account on Platform Configuration. These needs to be fulfilled according to release and deployment plans lead by the ITID PM’s, with your participation in the User Acceptance Testing and Business Validation activities, raising technical issues to the development teams and ensure those are solved with the appropriate fixes/change requests

L2 Support: Provide timely solutions to complex operational issues. This might require interactions with other AA&S SME’s, IT development teams, Vendor Support, Actively participate in the meetings that are used to manage infrastructure escalations.

Platform COE: - Design / Coordinate with other AA&S platform SME's the necessary knowledge transfer to support tiers prior to deployment. Participate as technical advisor for the post-warranty sign-off, from which point the Release is considered into full production. Perform configuration changes as required to enable operations.

Internal Processes: - Participate in the AA&S SLA Support reviewed, with an attitude focused on quality and continuous improvement. Be attentive to any platform support improvement opportunities, taking into account not only the support operations results (e.g. improve knowledge of BLAST L0 Team, opportunities for administration automation), but the user community needs.

Knowledge and Skills required
- Salesforce Administration Certificate/SAP experience is recommended
- Demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of key Pointnext business working practices and operational policies, processes and methodologies. Including knowledge of the Partner Support area
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work and collaborate visually
