**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning**:

- Design and deliver advanced lesson plans aligned with the English curriculum for higher secondary grades.
- Teach literature, including poetry, prose, and drama, as well as advanced language concepts and writing skills.
- Use various resources, including literary texts, digital tools, and multimedia, to enhance learning and make content engaging.
- **Classroom Management and Student Engagement**:

- Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical analysis, interpretation, and discussion.
- Use interactive and collaborative methods to engage students and encourage them to participate actively.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that values diverse perspectives and literary interpretations.
- **Student Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Create and administer assessments, assignments, and projects to evaluate students’ understanding and analytical skills.
- Provide timely feedback and constructive guidance to support students' growth in English language and literature.
- Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and participation.
- **Individualized Support and Student Development**:

- Identify students’ individual strengths and areas for improvement, offering targeted support as needed.
- Help students develop strong written and oral communication skills, focusing on clarity, coherence, and style.
- Encourage students to explore various forms of literature and support them in developing a personal interest in reading and writing.
- **Parental Communication**:

- Regularly update parents about their child’s progress and any areas of concern.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and provide feedback.
- **Professional Development**:

- Attend workshops, seminars, and training to stay updated on teaching techniques, curriculum changes, and trends in English literature and language education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, teaching strategies, and best practices.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
