Finance Administrator

The Group IP Finance Administrator will be responsible for standardization of finance processes and providing transparency, insight, and predictability to the IP budget for Operating Companies within Danaher’s Life Sciences** **Group. The Group IP Finance Administrator will report to the Group Senior IP Paralegal.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide monthly actuals, accruals v. forecasting on a regular basis (showing cumulative data, monthly data, maintenance fees, etc. by cost type).
- Implement Standard Work for financial procedures incl. billing and vendor selection (to include outside counsel billing rules and guidelines), budgeting, forecasting, accruals, etc.
- Support vendor consolidation and process improvement to better leverage current spend and reduce administrative burden associated with relationship management.
- Implement standardized Legal Tracker processes, configurations, and codes
- Develop daily management/visual management (DM/VM) for project tracking and execution.
- Support IP yearly budget process.
- Support projects to reduce costs.
- Gather and report out finance-based projects by OpCo to IP Leads.
- Process IP invoices in Legal Tracker, approve rates sheets, and conduct first level audit review for compliance with billing guidelines.
- Interface with finance associates to track and forecast IP spend.
**Preferred Background and Skills**:
- 2+ years’ experience building and tracking accurate budgets and forecasts.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Skilled with Power BI and other data analytics tools preferred.
- Highly collaborative individual.
- Data driven, detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to manage workload and communicate effectively.
- Champions continuous improvement to deliver and improve results.
