Role & responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally or similar accounting software.
- Record and manage all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and prepare periodic financial summaries.
- Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESI, TDS, and other legal financial obligations, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Prepare and file GST returns and support audit processes by coordinating with internal and external auditors.
- Process payments, including salaries, vendor invoices, and reimbursements in a timely manner.
- Maintain records for company assets, including depreciation and inventory tracking.
- Support budgeting and expense monitoring to ensure cost efficiency and transparency.
- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely settlements.
Administration & Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and well-functioning work environment.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and maintenance coordination.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including mail, courier, and calls.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and company events.
- Maintain and update filing systems (both digital and physical) for easy information retrieval.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees by preparing workspaces and necessary resources.
- Maintain and update employee health insurance data and assist in HR-related administrative tasks.
- Organize and support company events, training sessions, and internal meetings, ensuring all logistics are in place.
- Arrange refreshments or snacks for employees during late meetings or special sessions.
- Collaborate with team members and support staff to maintain a positive, efficient, and engaging office environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree or certification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration.
- 3 to 6 years of proven experience in finance, bookkeeping, or administrative roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally or other accounting software.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, GST).
- Experience in handling audits and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
