**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Quality Assurance**: Inspect all incoming raw ingredients to ensure they meet our quality standards and comply with food safety regulations.
- **Food Preparation & Cooking**: Supervise and monitor the preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all dishes.
- **Recipe Adherence**: Ensure all dishes are prepared in line with company recipes, portion control standards, and food safety guidelines.
- **Temperature Control**: Monitor cooking and storage temperatures, ensuring all food is safely prepared and stored.
- **Training**: Train kitchen staff on proper food handling, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling, storage, and sanitation.
- **Consistency Checks**: Perform regular taste tests to ensure dishes meet consistency standards for flavor, texture, and appearance.
- **Supplier Relations**: Work with the purchasing team to select high-quality ingredients and establish strong supplier relationships.
- **Reporting**: Maintain records of quality control activities and provide feedback to the Head Chef or Operations Manager to improve kitchen processes.
- **Problem-Solving**: Identify issues in the kitchen related to food quality and work with the team to implement corrective actions.
**Requirements**:
- Proven 4-5 years of experience as a Chef
- Strong understanding of food quality standards, food safety regulations, and hygiene procedures.
- Excellent palate and attention to detail for flavor, texture, and presentation.
- Ability to supervise and train a kitchen team effectively.
- Knowledge of temperature control, storage, and handling practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred.
