Role details: Title / Designation: Sales Development Representative Location: Chennai, India. Work Mode: 5 days WFO Shift Timing: 4.30PM - 2.30 PM Reporting Manager: Vice President Role & responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by qualifying leads from self-research, marketing campaigns, and events. Engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, and presentations introducing the company and its services. Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients. Schedule and coordinate meetings or calls with prospective clients. Stay updated on the company’s technology service offerings. Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity metrics. Demonstrate strong communication and time-management skills, a startup mindset, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a global, diversity-focused mindset. Candidate requirements: Junior-level professional with 3-8 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, lead generation, and business development for the US market. Strong background in the IT consulting and services industry, with hands-on experience using various sales techniques, including cold calling. Proven track record of meeting sales activity targets and revenue goals. Experience working with CRM systems and sales execution platforms. Understanding of key sales performance metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to work night shifts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
