About Our Client

Our client is a prominent Indian player within the Plastics segment. They are mid-sized in terms of revenue and have ambitions to grow by 3-5x in the coming years.

Job Description

As CEO, your key responsibilities would be as follows -

Set long-term goals for scaling operations, including plans for increasing market share, expanding geographic reach, and enhancing product offerings.Lead the strategic roadmap to 3x revenue, ensuring that the company remains agile and responsive to both industry trends and competitive pressures.Lead pre-IPO preparation, ensuring the company meets the financial and operational standards required for a public listing.Manage capital allocation effectively to support growth initiatives, such as increasing production capacity, R&D, or entering new markets.Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential investors, analysts, and stakeholders.Communicate the company's growth story, including its sustainability practices and future revenue projections, to increase investor confidence.Attract, retain, and develop top leadership talent, especially in critical roles like finance, operations, sustainability, and marketing.Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, ensuring that teams are motivated and aligned with the company's vision.Maintain strong oversight of the company's financial health, including revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, and capital efficiency.Oversee the development of efficient, sustainable, and scalable operations, including manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain.Implement technological innovations to improve plastic recycling processes, reduce costs, and increase throughput as demand scales.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and standardsBuild and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring that the company's services meet their evolving sustainability needs.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate would be a Plastics (or allied) Engineer and MBA within Finance, marketing or operations with 20+ years of experience across any B2B manufacturing business. 5-7 years of experience within plastics, packaging, recycling or pipes would be an added advantage. Experience of driving an IPO would be a major plus point.
