About the Role:
We are hiring Senior Associates for the General Corporate practice of a Tier-1 law firm in Gurgaon. The selected candidates will work directly with four highly regarded partners, each offering exposure to diverse and complex corporate mandates. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking depth, variety, and leadership in corporate transactional work.
Key Responsibilities:
Advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and business transfers.
Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, including SPAs, SHAs, JV agreements, and term sheets.
Conducting due diligence and managing end-to-end transaction execution.
Advising on company law, SEBI, FEMA, FDI policy, and other regulatory frameworks.
Leading client interactions, managing workstreams independently, and mentoring junior associates.
Candidate Profile:
LL.B. from a reputed Indian law school; LL.M. is a plus.
4 to 7 years of relevant experience in the General Corporate team of a leading law firm.
Solid understanding of Indian corporate, securities, and foreign exchange laws.
Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong leadership qualities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
