Sales and Service Engineer

The Sales and Service Engineer in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry is responsible for promoting and selling diagnostic equipment and services, as well as providing technical support and maintenance to clients. This role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Sales and Promotion: Promote and sell IVD products and services to healthcare facilities, laboratories, and other clients.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to clients, including installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of diagnostic equipment.
- Customer Training: Conduct training sessions for clients on the proper use and maintenance of IVD equipment.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company's market share.
- Market Research: Gather and analyze market data to identify new sales opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, service calls, and customer interactions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in sales and technical support within the IVD or medical devices industry.
- Knowledge: Understanding of IVD products, diagnostic equipment, and the healthcare industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IVD equipment.
- Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions and training.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills to address client needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills to manage sales activities and service calls.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
