Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to oversee operations, sales, and team performance within the Bangalore region. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of all activities, drive growth, and maintain the highest standards of customer service while aligning with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Supervise daily operations across multiple locations within the designated area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and standards.
- Monitor inventory, logistics, and supply chain activities for efficiency.
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to enhance productivity and performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Financial Management:
- Manage budgets and control expenses to optimize profitability.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and ensuring service excellence.
- Conduct regular visits to locations to interact with customers and staff.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, operations, and team performance.
- Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and strategy development.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in operations, retail, apparel or sportswear industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Languages: Fluency in English is preferred.
