Role: The International Business Development Manager is tasked with driving the growth and expansion of our pharmaceutical equipment and system solutions in global markets. This includes identifying new opportunities, creating strategic partnerships, and fostering long-term relationships with clients. The role requires a strong understanding of international markets and the ability to navigate diverse cultural and regulatory environments. Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree would be an advantage. Proven experience in international business development, sales, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Demonstrable experience in successfully entering and expanding markets, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel internationally as needed. Years of Experience: 5-7 Yrs Industry: Vaccines, Complex Injectables & Biopharmaceuticals. Travel Requirement: Yes, extensively Key Responsibilities : Strategic Planning & Execution : - Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate international markets, focusing on increasing sales and market share. - Identify high-potential markets and devise entry strategies that align with organizational goals. Market Research & Analysis: - Conduct in-depth market research to gather insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. - Analyse market data to identify potential opportunities and risks, adapting strategies accordingly. Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain robust professional relationships with key decision-makers in target markets, including pharmaceutical companies, distributors, and industry bodies. - Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Sales & Negotiation: - Lead the sales process from lead generation to closing, negotiating terms and conditions that are favourable for both the company and clients. - Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase the value of our solutions. Collaboration & Coordination: - Work closely with the engineering, production, and marketing teams to ensure product offerings meet client needs and market demands. - Coordinate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all products meet local and international standards. Promotional Activities: - Represent the company at international trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to promote our brand and solutions. - Develop marketing materials and campaigns tailored to international audiences. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: - Track and report on key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to senior management. - Continuously assess and refine business development strategies based on performance outcomes and market feedback.
