Cobbler and Crew, part of a dynamic group of award-winning bars and restaurants, seeks an empathetic and process oriented HR Manager to join our growing team. You will lead our human resources function. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth HR operations, creating a strong organizational culture, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all roles, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
  • Develop strategies for employee retention and engagement.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-demand roles.

2. Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing grievances and fostering open communication.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

3. Training and Development:

  • Design and execute training programs to enhance skills across the team.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions to integrate new hires effectively.
  • Create leadership development initiatives to groom future leaders from within.

4. Performance Management:

  • Implement performance review processes and guide managers in conducting evaluations.
  • Develop and execute improvement plans for underperforming employees.

5. HR Operations and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop, communicate, and enforce HR policies.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration.
  • Regularly benchmark salaries and benefits to stay competitive in the industry.

7. Organizational Development:

  • Plan and execute team-building activities and initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Align HR goals with business objectives and contribute to organizational growth.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in HR management, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or retail industries.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance.
  • Experience in managing blue-collar and white-collar employees.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Knowledge of Zoho Recruits and Zoho People will be a big plus.
