Role Overview:
As a Recruiter Intern at Valkyrie People Consulting, you will gain hands-on experience in the recruitment process. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop skills in talent acquisition, sourcing, and candidate management while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing:
- Use various platforms (e.g., job boards, LinkedIn, social media) to source potential candidates.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Candidate Engagement:
- Reach out to candidates, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews.
- Build relationships with candidates and provide an exceptional recruitment experience.
- Coordination:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and senior recruiters to understand job roles and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and updates in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Market Research:
- Research industry trends and talent pools to assist in creating effective hiring strategies.
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting them on relevant platforms.
- Support the recruitment team in daily operations and other HR activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with LinkedIn or job portals is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
