The Service Now Technical Consultant is responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation and integrity of the Service Now application within our organization.
Supports demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of the IM projects.
Provides solutions that are compatible with the existing (technical and functional) architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget and operational supportability.
Ensures quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments.
Monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in own area of expertise.
Build and maintain strong relationship with SIM/process owners & business.
Lead and/or participate in projects covering the Service Now domain.

About the job (Job Responsibilities)
10+ years of experience in experience on Service Now development and configurations.
5+ years of experience as Service Now Architect or Lead in a complex architecture
5+ years of experience in integration (APIs, JDBC, and file-based parsers.) and Service Portal is MUST to have for this role.
Validated understanding of Service Now, proficiency in Java Script, HTML, and libraries/frameworks such as Angular JS and Bootstrap.
Experience in designing Service Now architecture, data modelling and writing technical specification
Ability to drive best practices across Service Now development and configuration
Experience in ITSM, HRSD, ITBM, Custom applications is required.
Resolves technical escalations, including responding to defects.
Define, guides and support the execution of your technical governance processes.
Train the team and team members with technical guidance
Helps develop standards and practices for maintaining the Service Now architecture model
Supports design and implementation of a platform operating model to achieve your desired outcomes and foster end-user adoption
Provides technical evaluation of demands against Service Now platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices
Supports remediation of configurations not aligned to Service Now best practices
Assesses instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting Service Now Health Scan
Oversee platform operations like instance cloning and version upgrade.
Will be the first point of contact for any new solution design, 3rd Line support and technical guidance for the team.
We believe you bring (Education & Experience)
Master or Bachelor level of education (or similar level)
One or more Service Now certifications.
