Purpose of the Job:The ServiceNow Technical Consultant is responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation and integrity of the ServiceNow application within our organization.Supports demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of the IM projects.Provides solutions that are compatible with the existing (technical and functional) architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget and operational supportability.Ensures quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments.Monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in own area of expertise.Build and maintain strong relationship with SIM/process owners & business.Lead and/or participate in projects covering the ServiceNow domain.At Nouryon, our global team of Changemakers takes positive action every day, to reach higher collectively and individually. About the job (Job Responsibilities)10+ years of experience in experience on ServiceNow development and configurations.5+ years of experience as ServiceNow Architect or Lead in a complex architecture5+ years of experience in integration (APIs, JDBC, and file-based parsers.) and Service Portal is MUST to have for this role.Validated understanding of ServiceNow, proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and libraries/frameworks such as AngularJS and Bootstrap.Experience in designing ServiceNow architecture, data modelling and writing technical specificationAbility to drive best practices across ServiceNow development and configurationExperience in ITSM, HRSD, ITBM, Custom applications is required.Resolves technical escalations, including responding to defects.Define, guides and support the execution of your technical governance processes.Train the team and team members with technical guidanceHelps develop standards and practices for maintaining the ServiceNow architecture modelSupports design and implementation of a platform operating model to achieve your desired outcomes and foster end-user adoptionProvides technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practicesSupports remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practicesAssesses instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting ServiceNow Health ScanOversee platform operations like instance cloning and version upgrade.Will be the first point of contact for any new solution design, 3rd Line support and technical guidance for the team.
