Purpose of the Job:

The ServiceNow Technical Consultant is responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation and integrity of the ServiceNow application within our organization.

  • Supports demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of the IM projects.
  • Provides solutions that are compatible with the existing (technical and functional) architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget and operational supportability.
  • Ensures quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments.
  • Monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in own area of expertise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with SIM/process owners & business.
  • Lead and/or participate in projects covering the ServiceNow domain.

About the job (Job Responsibilities)

  • 10+ years of experience in experience on ServiceNow development and configurations.
  • 5+ years of experience as ServiceNow Architect or Lead in a complex architecture
  • 5+ years of experience in integration (APIs, JDBC, and file-based parsers.) and Service Portal is MUST to have for this role.
  • Validated understanding of ServiceNow, proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and libraries/frameworks such as AngularJS and Bootstrap.
  • Experience in designing ServiceNow architecture, data modelling and writing technical specification
  • Ability to drive best practices across ServiceNow development and configuration
  • Experience in ITSM, HRSD, ITBM, Custom applications is required.
  • Resolves technical escalations, including responding to defects.
  • Define, guides and support the execution of your technical governance processes.
  • Train the team and team members with technical guidance
  • Helps develop standards and practices for maintaining the ServiceNow architecture model
  • Supports design and implementation of a platform operating model to achieve your desired outcomes and foster end-user adoption
  • Provides technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices
  • Supports remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practices
  • Assesses instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting ServiceNow Health Scan
  • Oversee platform operations like instance cloning and version upgrade.
  • Will be the first point of contact for any new solution design, 3rd Line support and technical guidance for the team.

  • Master or Bachelor level of education (or similar level)
  • One or more ServiceNow certifications.
