>>Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public procurement with state or central government or with state/central public sector undertakings.
  • Experience in procurement methods of World Bank, Asian Development Bank, or other multilateral funded projects is desirable.


>>Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Prepare and manage procurement documents, including requests for proposals (RFPs), invitations to bid, and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to contract terms and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
  • Provide training and support to staff on procurement policies and procedures.

  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.


>> Education Qualification

Graduate in Engineering, Economics, or Management, or a related field from a reputed university or institute.
