About HHSS (Health, Human & Social service) Team Health, human and social services are at the core of a nation's development agenda. India's social sector spend is increasing, with trends such as direct benefits transfer, digital monitoring, private sector enablement and impact investment driving outcomes in sectors such as Water, Sanitation, And Hygiene (WASH), healthcare, financial Inclusion, social and rural development, livelihoods, and affordable housing. The sector has witnessed a paradigm shift from a treatment-based model to a preventive focused model. This is likely to accelerate growth opportunities in the sector. KPMG in India’s Health, Human and Social Services (HHSS) practice works with government agencies, multilaterals, donors, private sector participants, civil society stakeholders and other social sector organizations to deliver efficient, equitable, and effective health, human and social services that create sustainable societies. Qualification & Experience: Educational Background: B. E/B Tech/MCA in Computer Science / Information Technology. Experience with Government Projects: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting, with a focus on E-Governance or public sector projects with Strong documentations skill in preparing DPRs, RFPs, FRS, etc. Certifications: Professionally certified in recognized project delivery methods such as PMI/PMP/PRINCE2 or Common Information Management Method is preferred. Key Responsibilities: E Governance Advisory: Provide advisory for E-Governance projects on IT strategies, solutions, and best practices. Project Planning: Assist in the planning and scoping of E-Governance projects, including defining objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Solution Design: Design and recommend IT solutions that improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of government services. Implementation Support: Oversee the implementation of IT solutions, ensuring they meet the specified requirements and standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with government stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored IT solutions. Training and Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions and workshops to build the capacity of government staff in using new IT systems. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure IT solutions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, and manage associated risks. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented IT solutions and recommend improvements. Skills and Competencies: Experience: Proven track record of working in E-Governance projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT project management, system design, and knowledge of E-Governance frameworks. Emerging Technologies: Knowledge of Emerging technologies such as AI, Blockchain, and Cloud computing in the context of E-Governance. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with government officials and stakeholders.
