Health, human and social services are at the core of a nation's development agenda. This is likely to accelerate growth opportunities in the sector.KPMG in India’s Health, Human and Social Services (HHSS) practice works with government agencies, multilaterals, donors, private sector participants, civil society stakeholders and other social sector organizations to deliver efficient, equitable, and effective health, human and social services that create sustainable societies. Qualifications:

  1. MBBS, MD Community Medicine / MBBS with MHM / MBBS with MPH / MBA in Hospital Management / Hospital Administration from a recognized university.
  2. At least 4 years of experience in the field of public health at a reputed institute that has handled State or Centrally sponsored programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs.
  2. Coordinate with state and central health authorities to ensure program alignment with national health policies.
  3. Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines to achieve project goals.
  4. Lead a team of health professionals and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality program delivery.
  5. Monitor and report on program performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
  6. Foster partnerships with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, and community organizations.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  2. Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  3. Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Knowledge of local language (Kannada) is a plus.
