We are seeking a talented Business Development Associate to drive client acquisition in the US financial services sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing a pipeline of prospects and nurturing leads to offer services such as accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and taxation.

You must have a deep understanding of core accounting principles and a proven ability to use a consultative sales approach to build relationships and close new client deals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive client acquisition through outbound prospecting and lead generation
  • Manage a sales pipeline and nurture leads to close new client deals
  • Offer services such as accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and taxation to clients
  • Ba instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

You will work closely with internal accounting teams to scope projects and present tailored solutions to clients.

In addition, you will focus on originating new client relationships and serving as a subject matter expert to close deals.

Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience in business development, sales or a client-facing role within the financial services sector
  • Expertise in client prospecting, lead generation, and sales pipeline management for professional services
  • A deep understanding of core accounting principles including U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and common tax compliance and auditing standards preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers by leveraging financial expertise
  • Familiarity with financial software and technology to effectively communicate their value proposition to prospective clients
