Job Title: Learning Support Expert

The role of a Learning Support Specialist is to provide guidance and support to students throughout their learning journey.

  • Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours, displaying empathy and understanding towards the student's needs.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to guide students through complex assignments and questions, ensuring timely and clear responses.
  • Provide feedback that includes constructive suggestions to help students develop problem-solving skills, applicable to both new and experienced learners.
  • Suggest improvements to course content to ensure effective communication.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance course delivery and resolve unexpected challenges.
Key Responsibilities

This role involves supporting learners enrolled in programs related to machine learning, AI, data engineering, data science, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering and/or data science, excellent time management skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or data analytics.
  • Professional or academic experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and GitHub.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Advanced academic background in mathematics, particularly statistics, calculus, and linear algebra.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen effectively and maintain a mutual comfort level when working with diverse student populations.
