ServiceNow Platform Expert

The role of ServiceNow Platform Expert is a key component of our organization's IT service management strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions across Compliance & Risk domains using the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality development projects on time, adhering to all aspects of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
  • Develop detailed technical/implementation design documentation that aligns with organizational standards.
  • Provide accurate estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in regular code reviews to ensure adherence to development, implementation, and performance standards, offering coaching and mentoring on design and coding best practices to engineers within the scrum team.
  • Assist with updating program specification/implementation documentation to reflect changes and improvements.
  • Work closely with the scrum team to prepare configurations for production deployment.
  • Contribute to unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, reviewing test scripts and aligning with broader testing strategies.
  • Elevate issues, provide constructive feedback, and propose enhancements to implementation specifications to drive continuous improvement.
  • Offer consultation services to product owners, providing recommendations to drive their requirements towards success.
  • Engage as part of an agile scrum team utilizing principles and tools including Rally.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • possess 4-8+ years of experience in software development.
  • Accumulate 2-6+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions/components in the ServiceNow Suite, covering full-cycle implementation.
  • Gain expertise in ServiceNow configurations, workflows, scripting, UI policies, ACLs, integrations, and CMDB.
  • Utilize applicable programming methodologies: JavaScript, API (Restful), XML, Java, Jelly scripting, Angular JS.
