**Job Overview:**

Accops is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Government Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the public sector. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base within government accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing government accounts, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Accops solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within government agencies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
  • Participate in regular business reviews, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales performance and improve customer satisfaction.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the software industry, with a strong track record of success in managing complex sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within government agencies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in selling software solutions to public sector customers, including knowledge of procurement processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of Accops solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Salesforce, and experience with data analysis and reporting.
