Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our Government Sales vertical. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving lead generation efforts, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in IT sales, specifically in government accounts, with experience selling cloud and data center services. They will possess excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze business and technical requirements from clients.

Responsibilities
  • Identify new business development opportunities in government and PSU sectors
  • Drive lead generation efforts through various channels, including networking and relationship management
  • Create pitches and proposals, including requirements gathering, for successful conversion of leads
  • Conduct introductory calls and follow up with clients online and offline
  • Responsible for revenue generation from government sales vertical
  • Maintain a watching brief on developments within customer's organisation which may affect future business
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in IT sales in government accounts
  • Selling cloud and data center services, public/private cloud services
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, marketing, business, or a related field
  • Result-oriented with solid understanding of cloud services like Azure/AWS/GCP, cloud firewalls, cloud data storage, cloud storage, data sharing related technologies
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, and a good team player
