About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Valuation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our valuation group, you will play a critical role in performing and managing business valuation engagements for US and UK clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be driven, and possess in-depth subject matter knowledge in valuations related to:
- Business Combinations / Purchase Price Allocation
- Goodwill Impairments
- Gift and Estate Valuation
- 409A/Stock Compensation (ASC 718)
- Reviewing of 3rd party valuations
- Assembling market/guideline/comparable financial and valuation data
- Valuation of Equity, Debt, Derivatives etc.
- Litigation arising out of Shareholder disputes etc.
- Financial Modelling
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Perform and manage business valuation engagements for US and UK clients;
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders;
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results;
- Analyze complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations;
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A CFA, CA, or MBA degree in Finance or a related field;
- At least 8 years of experience in business valuation;
- Proven hands-on experience in financial management software;
- Ability to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously;
- Demonstrated proficiency in written, verbal, and presentation skills.
