About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Operations Assistant to join our team. As a Finance Operations Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience in financial operations, assist in transactional processes, and support reporting and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and check day-to-day financial transactions;
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow);
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and organizing data;
  • Help maintain financial trackers and spreadsheets;
  • Work with teams to provide simple reports and updates;
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable entries;
  • Support month-end closing activities like reconciliations and documentation;
  • Provide data for tax filings and audits when needed;
  • Create simple dashboards, presentations, and summaries for internal use;
  • Contribute to small process improvement tasks and ad-hoc finance projects.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field;
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets;
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Strong communication and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • Experience in – Tally, Quickbooks, Zoho, Xero.
