Job Description

The role of Technical Consultant involves providing expert support for MS-Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations in a UK manufacturing client's India office in Bengaluru. The key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to capture technical requirements, analyzing business needs and providing solutions, and supporting the D365 F&O platform.

This position requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The Technical Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive technical requirements are captured.
  • Analyzing requirements received from business process leads and key stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
  • Providing technical support for D365 F&O platform.
  • Understanding business needs and determining the best technical solution using default D365 capabilities.
  • Supporting testing activities and training end-users as required.
  • Assisting with integration of D365 F&O and CE with custom/3rd party applications.
  • Maintaining MS standards and configuring the system optimally for performance.
  • Maintaining, managing, and supporting the D365 application post-implementation.
  • Managing version control for custom code, builds, releases, and deployment.
  • Working closely with functional consultants to design MS D365 technical solutions.
  • Developing quality documentation according to industry standards.
  • Managing and maintaining security roles and user access management.
  • Supporting DRA, printer, and scanner-related requirements.
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining workflows.
  • Creating, managing, maintaining, and monitoring batch jobs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations or D365 F&O experience.
  • D365 Support experience.
  • Understanding of printers, handheld scanners, and F&O as a cloud-hosted application.

A degree in Computer Science or related field is desirable but not essential.
