Job Role: Technical Product Strategist

We seek a seasoned professional to lead our product lifecycle processes for Insurtech products/platforms. As a Technical Product Strategist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver product requirements, evaluate performance, and transition products from development to commercialization.

  • You will manage technical/business requirements, facilitate technical discussions with Engineering teams, and assist in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
  • As a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements, you may lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests. You will be responsible for product delivery, managing schedules, and tasks related to all aspects of product development.
  • As a mentor and driver of a team of Product Managers, you will act as a technical consultant to the product organization, leading research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
  • You will ensure the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of experience in Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment.
  • Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent Degree in technology or related field.
  • Strong Background of working as a Technical & Functional Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis etc.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC & technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems.
  • Coaching & mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners.
  • An SME who performs work with a high degree of latitude; handles the most complex issues.
  • Possess strong Communication skills, Problem-solving & Analytical thinking skills.
  • Can lead individual assignments & deliver with strong expertise.
  • Expert level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools.
  • Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional in a global team setup.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Life & Annuity Industry.
