Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth initiatives within our retail division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new markets, customer needs, and untapped business opportunities within the retail sector.
  • Play a key role in the successful planning and execution of new product launches, from market assessment to go-to-market strategy and post-launch performance monitoring.
  • Develop and implement robust sales strategies to achieve aggressive growth targets.
  • Drive channel sales expansion, including the identification and appointment of new dealers and effective distributor handling to optimize reach and sales performance.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and achievement.
  • Systematically identify and map vacant market areas with high potential for business expansion, developing strategies to penetrate these regions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients to drive long-term business growth.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare regular reports for senior management, providing actionable insights.
  • Continuously monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to ensure our strategies remain competitive and effective.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing roles, preferably in FMCG sales, Telecom sales, Automobile sales, or Oil and Gas sales industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in both B2B and B2C environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in channel sales, dealer appointment, and distributor management.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior experience in handling and motivating a sales team.
  • Proficient in conducting market research, identifying new opportunities, and analyzing customer needs.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic business development plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret sales data, market trends, and identify actionable insights.
  • Experience in a similar industry and in-depth product knowledge relevant to PCD Retail is a distinct advantage.
