
Green Business Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Program Coordinator to support the implementation of green business and decentralized renewable energy (DRE) solutions under the Nagpur Entrepreneurship Mission (NEM).
The incumbent will report to the Program Manager and work closely with implementation partners and local government to enable the growth of sustainable, climate-aligned entrepreneurship.
This is a field-intensive role that combines stakeholder coordination, data tracking, and on-ground support for program delivery across sectors such as solar-powered livelihoods, green mobility, energy-efficient appliances, and other DRE-enabled business models.
Key Job Responsibilities:- Support day-to-day implementation of green entrepreneurship and DRE-linked livelihood interventions;
- Work closely with partners to identify use-cases (e.g., solar sewing machines, solar dryers, etc.), mobilize entrepreneurs, and monitor adoption.
- Facilitate coordination with district authorities (e.g., Collector, CEO ZP), Gram Panchayats, DISCOMs, and relevant line departments (e.g., Renewable Energy, Rural Development);
- Coordinate local Working Group and Core Group meetings to review DRE interventions and resolve field-level bottlenecks.
- Master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or related field;
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the field of renewable energy;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
