Green Entrepreneurship Coordinator

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in promoting sustainable livelihoods and green entrepreneurship. As a Green Entrepreneurship Coordinator, you will support the implementation of innovative green business solutions, focusing on Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) technologies.

The incumbent will work closely with our team and local government partners to enable the growth of climate-aligned entrepreneurship. This field-intensive role combines stakeholder coordination, data tracking, and on-ground support for program delivery across various sectors, including solar-powered livelihoods, green mobility, energy-efficient appliances, and other DRE-enabled business models.

Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day implementation of green entrepreneurship and DRE-linked livelihood interventions;
  • Coordinate local Working Group and Core Group meetings to review DRE interventions and resolve field-level bottlenecks;
  • Engage with local banks, MFIs, and NBFCs to enable financing options for DRE-linked enterprises;
  • Build relationships with green tech providers, civil society partners, and local institutions to strengthen last-mile delivery;
  • Collect, verify, and analyze field data in a timely manner;
  • Assist partners in organizing field demos, community awareness drives, and entrepreneurship development trainings;
  • Represent us in district-level review meetings, working groups, and government forums;
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Environmental Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields;
  • Postgraduate qualification in Renewable Energy, Management, Public Policy, or related fields preferred;
  • Five to eight years of professional experience, with at least two to three years in program coordination, renewable energy access, livelihoods, or MSME promotion;
  • Experience of working on DRE solutions, clean energy entrepreneurship, or sustainable livelihoods essential;
  • Prior experience engaging with government departments, green energy providers, and financial institutions valued.
Key Competencies:
  • Sound understanding of DRE technologies, use-cases in livelihood generation, and market-based deployment models;
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and support field-level implementation effectively;
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and ability to track and analyze program data;
  • Familiarity with local government structures and decision-making processes;
  • Ability to represent us in district forums;
  • Experience working with rural or underserved communities and facilitating training/awareness activities.
