Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Program Coordinator to support the implementation of our green business and Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) solutions. This role will play a critical part in enabling the growth of sustainable, climate-aligned entrepreneurship.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of renewable energy access, livelihoods, and MSME promotion. They will be responsible for supporting day-to-day program implementation, working closely with partners to identify use-cases and mobilize entrepreneurs, and monitoring adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Implementation Support
    • Support the implementation of green entrepreneurship and DRE-linked livelihood interventions
    • Work closely with partners to identify opportunities and monitor progress
  • Stakeholder & Government Liaison
    • Foster relationships with district authorities, Gram Panchayats, and relevant line departments
    • Coordinate local Working Group and Core Group meetings to review DRE interventions
  • Partnership & Bank Engagement
    • Engage with local banks and financial institutions to enable financing options for DRE-linked enterprises
    • Build relationships with green tech providers and civil society partners to strengthen last-mile delivery
  • Monitoring & MIS
    • Maintain a district-level dashboard of entrepreneurs supported and DRE solutions deployed
    • Collect and analyze field data to inform state and national reporting
  • Awareness & Training Support
    • Assist partners in organizing field demos and community awareness drives
    • Provide coordination support for exposure visits and events showcasing green business models
  • Documentation & Review Meetings
    • Represent the organization in district-level review meetings and government forums
    • Document case studies and success stories for internal and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Environmental Sciences, or related fields. A postgraduate qualification in Renewable Energy or Management is preferred. The candidate should have five to eight years of professional experience, with at least two to three years in program coordination, renewable energy access, livelihoods, or MSME promotion. Experience of working on Decentralized Renewable Energy solutions is essential.
