Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Description:

The successful candidate will support the implementation of green business and DRE solutions under the Nagpur Entrepreneurship Mission. This role involves stakeholder coordination, data tracking, and on-ground support for program delivery across sectors such as solar-powered livelihoods, green mobility, energy-efficient appliances, and other DRE-enabled business models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day implementation of green entrepreneurship and DRE-linked livelihood interventions;
  • Work closely with partners to identify use-cases (e.g., solar sewing machines, solar dryers), mobilize entrepreneurs, and monitor adoption;
  • Facilitate coordination with district authorities (e.g., Collector, CEO ZP), Gram Panchayats, DISCOMs, and relevant line departments (e.g., Renewable Energy, Rural Development);
  • Coordinate local Working Group and Core Group meetings to review DRE interventions and resolve field-level bottlenecks.
