Project Lead - Livelihood

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project implementation by collaborating with leads/teams to align activities with the project design, activity plan, and quality standards.
  • Cultivate technical excellence in project interventions through regular coordination with the Director of Social Additionality.
  • Develop detailed plans and budgets; assist project teams in achieving defined objectives and targets.

  • Refine strategies and approaches for greater impact and scalability through reflective practices.
Enterprise Development Roles:
  • Establish plastic collection centers and points within waste collector communities.
  • Launch e-tricycle-based plastic waste collection initiatives for informal collectors.
  • Implement skill training initiatives and market linkages for decent income opportunities.
  • Forge partnerships with government bodies, private sector actors, and technical institutions.
  • Build networks with stakeholders to support effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with government departments, including state urban/rural livelihood missions.
  • Establish institutional linkages at the district level for financial and marketing support.
Capacity Building Initiatives:
  • Organize entrepreneurship awareness programs.
  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder workshops on enterprise development.
  • Conduct EAPs (Entrepreneurship Awareness Programs), EDPs (Entrepreneurship Development Programs), and mentorship sessions.
  • Offer business support and mentorship for women micro-entrepreneurs.
  • Conduct capacity needs assessments for institutional partners as needed.
  • Develop IEC materials, demonstration tools, training modules, and capacity-building resources.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in the PFC platform.
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation and data flow through the PFC technology platform.
  • Review and update policies and SOPs with required documentation.
  • Submit reports in prescribed formats.
  • Maintain and analyze all MIS data.
  • Provide insights and analysis of project activities to relevant teams.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge:
  • Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector.
  • Experience in social business development is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working with informal sectors and vulnerable workforce.
  • Strong understanding of social and environmental sustainability concepts.
  • Proficiency in English, Tamil, Bengali, and Telugu is essential.
