
Senior HR Operations Manager

About the Role:
This is a senior-level HR operations position responsible for managing day-to-day HR functions, including employee lifecycle management, compensation and benefits, payroll, mobility, labour compliance, personnel administration, and HRMS.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of all HR operations to support business objectives and leading a team of HR professionals in effective collaboration and alignment with business needs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Compensation & Benefits Strategy:
- Developing and implementing pay structures and employee benefits strategies aligned with company policies to ensure competitiveness.
- Administering employee benefits, including insurance and incentives.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for compensation and benefits.
- Payroll Management:
- End-to-end payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, social security, and other statutory obligations.
- Implementing payroll policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborating with Finance and Legal teams to address payroll-related concerns.
- International & Domestic Mobility:
- Overseeing employee mobility programs, including international assignments, visa processing, and expatriate management.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international immigration laws and mobility policies.
- Labour Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:
- Ensuring HR policies comply with Indian labor laws and global corporate standards.
- Handling disciplinary matters efficiently.
- Maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.
- HR Administration:
- Ensuring smooth HR administrative functions, including employee records, HR documentation, and policy updates.
- Managing HR support services such as onboarding, exit formalities, and employee lifecycle management.
- HRMS & Digital Transformation:
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of HRMS solutions for seamless HR operations.
- Leveraging HR technology to automate processes, enhance reporting, and improve data accuracy.
- Collaborating with IT and HR teams to integrate digital HR tools for efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of payroll management and benefits administration.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience in handling international and domestic employee mobility.
- Proficiency in HRMS and digital HR tools.
- Collaborative and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Goal-oriented and hands-on mindset.
- Adaptable and cooperative in dynamic team environments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10-12 years of HR experience.
- Experience in managing a team is preferred.
- Oil and gas or industrial experience is highly valued.
- International inbound and outbound mobility and expat management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
