Job Description

As a regional head, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our grain processing business in South Asia, particularly in biofuel ethanol. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop a go-to-market strategy that aligns with our organizational mission and targets.

You will identify opportunities for growth, partnerships, and innovation, and develop key action plans based on an in-depth understanding of the industry trends, competitors, market needs, resources, and support requirements.

In this role, you will lead and mentor sales managers and technical service managers, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative work culture. You will also ensure succession planning, capability building, and leadership development within the team.

We are looking for a senior commercial professional with a strong background in the biofuel ethanol or grain processing industry. You should have at least 5 years of working experience in the field and hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or any relevant field.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. They should be comfortable working in a multicultural and remote environment and be proficient in Microsoft Office or related software and CRM systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least BSc. in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering or any relevant fields with minimum 5 years working experience in biofuel ethanol or grain processing industry.
  • Strong background in the biofuel ethanol or grain processing industry.
  • Senior commercial experience with specialty chemicals or enzymes, including direct and indirect sales via sales channels.
  • Comfortable with multi-cultural and remote working environment, with strong proactiveness to work across functions internally and externally.
  • Solid People leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively drive opportunities and address challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills; Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software, and CRM.
