Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Finance professional to join our team. As a Senior Associate in this role, you will be involved in various projects related to Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), financing, and fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A projects, including financing and fundraising initiatives.
  • Assisting with targeting and approaching new clients to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Significant involvement in creating pitch documents, pricing/valuation papers, marketing materials, and management presentations.
  • Advising clients on commercial negotiation and transaction structuring.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A/investment banking, transaction advisory or consulting services.
  • An MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree with a solid academic record.
  • A strong understanding of financial statements and their interlinkages.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent proficiency in written and verbal communication skills – English and German (mandatory).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint).
  • Command in using research databases such as S&P Capital IQ, MergerMarket, Pitchbook, Fame, Orbis, among others.
