About Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Financial Due Diligence professional to play a key role in managing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic advice to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and identify business and financial risks and opportunities while advising both strategic and private equity buyers & sellers on alternative strategies for acquisition, disposition, and restructuring of businesses
  • Aggregate, refine, and analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, and working capital considerations
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity, including leading day-to-day operations and managing a team through drafting request lists and client communications, creating databooks, preparing materials for management meetings, and drafting adjusted EBITDA and debt tables
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations, and communicate with senior managers, directors, and principals on a regular basis
  • Develop associates and senior associates by coaching and providing real-time feedback

Requirements for Success

  • A certification in accounting or finance (e.g. CA, CPA, CFA) with a bachelor's or master's degree in the same field
  • At least 5 years of experience in transaction advisory services or audit, with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and project management skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, understand an entity through analyzing financial statements and creating analyses, and identify and deploy analytical tools to solve problems
  • A desire to build strong relationships and work in ambiguity, inducing structure on disorderly situations
