Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics AX professional to join our team and contribute their expertise in data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AX modules and proficiency in SQL development, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Understand and support all core Dynamics AX modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Work independently to deep dive into concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer, debugging existing AX customizations, tracing and understanding business logic in X++ and SQL.
  • Data Extraction and Transformation: Extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server, writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for reporting and migration.
  • Validation and Quality Assurance: Perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality, creating documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
  • Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with other database systems is a plus.
  • Must be available to work during 11:30 AM IST – 8:30 PM IST.
