Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook dishes with expertise in assigned cuisines, adhering to recipe guidelines and presentation standards.
  • Manage mise-en-place and daily food preparation, ensuring timely delivery of menu items to the dining area.
  • Train and supervise junior staff members in kitchen techniques, recipes, and safety protocols, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in requisitions, optimizing kitchen operations and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Roles and Responsibilities:Commis I:
  • Assist in preparing ingredients, basic sauces, and garnishes, following established recipes and presentation guidelines.

Commis II:

  • Assist with mise-en-place, following instructions for learning basic cooking methods and developing culinary skills.
