Assistant Pastry Chef Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Pastry Chef to join our team in the South Goa district. As an integral member of our culinary department, you will support the Head Pastry Chef in creating and presenting a variety of pastries and baked goods.

About the Role:

This is a full-time on-site position that requires attention to detail, creativity, and strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing baking ingredients, following traditional and modern recipes, monitoring stock levels, ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen, and assisting in the decoration and presentation of finished products.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare baking ingredients according to recipes and standards.
  • FOLLOW AND ADJUST RECIPES AS NEEDED
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supplies for production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the decoration and presentation of finished products to meet high-quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Pasty baking, cake decoration, and dessert making skills.
  • Experience in FOLLOWING AND ADJUSTING RECIPES.
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from senior chefs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is beneficial.
