About This Role

This position supports the Accounting department in delivering timely and accurate financial information by preparing and recording detailed AP, AR, and other general accounting transactions.

  • Review and account for AP & corporate expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify transactions and balances.
  • Assist with tax filings and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Support month-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, deferrals, etc., to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the team to recognize revenue and process refunds efficiently.
  • Analyze the monthly Income Statement and provide insights on fluctuations in P&L accounts.
  • Process AP transactions, review and approve POs and invoices in Nexonia, and initiate wire requests as needed.
  • Maintain vendor information in NetSuite, create necessary AP accrual journal entries, and coordinate 1099 filings.
  • Provide audit assistance, prepare AP documents requested for audit, and work directly with auditors to resolve any questions or concerns.
  • Ensure the accuracy of Fixed Assets additions and retirements, maintain the Fixed Assets Module, and verify depreciation entries are accurate.
  • Manage government filings and business renewals, maintain Business Filings documentation, and collaborate with tax consultants as needed.
  • Support management on special projects, assist various departments, and perform ad hoc tasks and/or projects as required.
