Financial Management Expert

We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to join our team as Chief Financial Officer.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles to drive business growth.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

Accounting and Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Implement best practices in financial reporting aligned with Indian GAAP/IFRS/Ind-AS standards.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and ensure accuracy in financial management information system reports.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits from start to finish, ensuring timely completion.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, FEMA, and more.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulators as needed.

Taxation and Regulatory:

  • Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, filings, and assessments.
  • Ensure timely payment of taxes and adherence to statutory timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and implement necessary process updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Professional accounting certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • At least 10 years of experience in senior-level financial management roles in similar industries
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results-driven, strategic thinker, and planner
