Sales Manager Job Description

As a Sales Manager at AccorHotel, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and sales materials.
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing terms and contracts to ensure favorable outcomes for both the client and the hotel.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel and generate leads.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle Cloud is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
