Job Opportunity: Learning Management System Specialist

About the Role:

The Learning Management System Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality courses on Canvas LMS. This involves designing engaging content, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring accessibility and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain courses in Canvas LMS, aligning them with instructional design specifications.
  • Develop, format, and organize content pages, HTML pages, quizzes, assignments, and documents as per design document guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Manage course assets, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related issues during course setup and delivery, collaborating with relevant teams for solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working on the Canvas LMS and/or CMS is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards for course design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
