Procurement Associate Job Description

This role is responsible for executing procurement activities in accordance with procurement policies. The successful candidate will have experience in vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, purchase order management, and inventory tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source vendors, analyze quotations, and issue purchase orders to meet business needs
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Track order deliveries, verify invoices, and liaise with the finance team for payment processing
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor database, ensuring compliance with audit and documentation standards
  • Support in preparing procurement reports, tracking PO lifecycle, and collecting feedback from users post-delivery
  • Manage inventory of office supplies, marketing materials, and consumables, including tracking stock levels, issuance, and timely replenishment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration, or supply chain management
  • Experience in procurement or supply chain operations within a mid to large-sized organization
  • Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle and inventory control practices
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and procurement software
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-focused with a problem-solving attitude
