We are seeking an experienced Business Growth Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth through effective Revenue Management strategies.
About the Role:The Business Growth Manager will be responsible for analyzing revenue maximization efforts across all revenue streams. This includes maintaining industry-leading Revenue Management standards, reviewing and measuring business performance against established goals, and monitoring thresholds within a two to three-year forecast to ensure measurable improvements in demand and availability.
The role requires close collaboration with each region to develop specific strategies to drive growth. The Business Growth Manager will conduct analysis of citywide and special events, implementing Revenue Management strategies to maximize demand generators while closely monitoring competitors for shifts in demand, rate, and strategy.
- Analyze short- and long-term forecasting and trends in group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line, and strategic sales goals.
- Monitor marketing channels, key account production, and ensure rate parity across all major channels of distribution.
- Review future booking and evaluate trends, updating all channels of distribution as needed with rate or inventory restrictions.
- Work with each region to develop region-specific strategies to drive growth, establishing appropriate goals and benchmarks to measure performance.
- Monitor and analyze the competition weekly through various channels, internet, news reports to identify selling strategies and emerging trends.
- Explore and provide variations in the market mix to stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs.
- Maintain software programs contributing to Revenue Management and assist with implementation of Revenue Management basics and standards.
We are looking for a candidate with an MBA or Post Graduate in Finance & Revenue Management, who has a minimum of 10 years' experience in the travel/airline/hotel industry, with at least 3-5 years in Revenue Management.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication and organization skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and statistical and competitive analysis skills.
Suitable candidates should also possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively analyze and use operational, financial, and marketing data to maintain and improve market share/penetration goals, understanding of business operations, and ability to work well under deadline pressure.
