Fundraising Strategy Lead

  • Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy to engage various corporates, high net worth individuals, and foundations.
  • Conduct market research to understand target funder groups and analyze their philanthropic interests and priorities.
  • Analyze market trends, information, and data to identify fund-raising opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and co-create project ideas for fundraising.
  • Establish a pipeline of prospective funder and corporate partners.
  • BUILD STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS WITH TARGET FUNDERS.
  • Prepare fundraising pitch materials and proposals tailored to our value proposition.
  • Participate in networking events and industry forums to position the organization.
  • Track commitments and reporting requirements, manage deadlines, and prepare reports.
  • Undertake due diligence on funding partners and individuals to ensure legally compliant engagements.

Educational Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Masters degree in Management, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • Minimum 15-20 years of work experience preferably B2B sales or not-for-profit fundraising experience.
  • Association with philanthropy and fundraising is a plus.
  • Outstanding relationship management skills and ability to present and influence at senior levels.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to market trends.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collect and assess information rapidly, identifying key points and drawing conclusions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable to changing team needs and organizational environment.
  • Experience of working effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to conceptualize proposal and pitches for fundraising.
  • Experience of utilizing the organization brand and programs for donor communication and engagement.
  • Brings fresh ideas and innovative thinking to the organization.
  • Understanding of the fundraising landscape national and global, including issues and challenges.
  • Open to extensive travel.
